Bring your own key

Last updated October 23, 2026

Bring your own key (BYOK) means you use Social Bellow with your own AI provider key. It is part of the lifetime plan.

How it works

  1. Get an API key from your AI provider.
  2. Add the key to Social Bellow.
  3. Your requests go to your provider, using your key.

You pay the provider directly for the AI usage. Social Bellow does not bill you for those requests.

What Social Bellow counts

Social Bellow counts your usage, so you can see it in your account. Your provider's bill shows what you pay for the AI itself.

Keep your key safe

  • Share your key only with your AI provider and with Social Bellow, when you add it.
  • If a key leaks, create a new key with your provider and delete the old one there.
  • Never post a key in a chat, a screenshot or a support message.
