Plans & SB tokens

Every plan gives you a monthly allowance of Social Bellow tokens (SB tokens, or SB). Each request uses some of it, and the allowance refills every month.

Compare plans#

Both paid plans include image generation, web search, unlimited saved prompts and more models. Pro includes more images than Basic.

To upgrade, choose a plan on the pricing section of our home page, or open Account in the app and choose Choose a plan. See Account & billing for payments and cancelling.

How SB tokens are counted#

AI models charge by the amount of text they read and write, and some models cost more than others. SB tokens put them all on one scale so your allowance means the same thing whichever model you choose.

• SB tokens are priced at a base rate. On the base model, one SB token is about one token of text.
• Every other model uses SB in proportion to its cost relative to the base rate. A model that costs twice the base rate uses twice as many SB tokens for the same request; a cheaper model uses fewer.
• Everything in a request counts: what you send (your message, the conversation so far and any attachments), the reply, and any web searches or images it makes.

See what you've used#

Your balance is always shown at the top of the app. Select it, or open Account › Tokens, to see:

• Available balance, out of your monthly allowance
• Used this month, with a chart of your daily use and a breakdown by model
• Images this month
• Next refill, the date your monthly allowance refreshes
• Transactions: every request with its model, date and tokens

When your allowance refills#

Your allowance refills once a month on your refill date, shown as Next refill under Account › Tokens. Your balance goes back to your plan's full allowance; unused tokens don't carry over to the next month.

If you run out before then, Social Bellow lets you know. You can upgrade to a plan with a bigger allowance, or wait for your next refill.
